Vortech Supercharged Charger Finishes 2nd at Maple Grove

The Vortech-sponsored Heads-Up Hemi Class is part of the Late Model Hemi Shootout, an event within an event at the NMCA Muscle Car Nationals, showcasing the fastest supercharged Hemi-powered cars in the nation.

This year's event at Maple Grove Raceway (June 5-7) featured a final showdown between a Vortech supercharged Speedfactory Charger driven by Eddie Rosa and a Paxton Supercharged Magnum driven by Chris Dufresne.

Eddie Rosa used a 10.29 second ETS in the first two rounds of eliminations to earn a berth in the final against Dufresne but fell short after his 2006 Charger rolled through the beams on the start, forfeiting the race.

Dufresne was awarded the grand prize of $1500, a jacket and a Vortech Supercharger System. Rosa was awarded the runner up prize of $750.
